Get ready to fly
There is a lot to think about when traveling. We want your travel to be as easy and efficient as possible, and below you can read more about our recommendations for traveling with us. We look forward to welcoming you onboard.
Before your travel
- Keep necessary documents and important medicines on your person or in your hand baggage.
- If you have any special needs, flying with pets or if children are flying alone, make sure to arrive at the airport in good time, and that the check in process is done minimum one hour before departure.
We encourage you to limit the amount of hand baggage you bring into the cabin and check in your baggage if possible. Please check your ticket type and what it includes. You can check your ticket type here.
We recommend stowing baggage under the seat in front of you and limiting the use of the overhead lockers, to make the boarding process as efficient as possible.
Remember to keep important documents and medicines on your person or in your hand baggage.
You can read more about baggage here.
We strongly recommend downloading our Travel Assistant app before travelling – a helping hand to make getting onboard as easy as possible. In the app you will be able to check in, see your travel documents, order extra baggage, and much more.

Fancy a bite on board? You can buy snacks and drinks on most of our flights. For most international flights over 2 hours and 15 min, you can also pre-order a meal up to 36 hours prior to departure. The meal consists of a hot meal with a sweet dessert.
You can read more about our onboard selection and pre-order your meal here.
At many airports, children and families with children have their own fast track at security. This will give you less time in queues and more time to enjoy your travel together.
There is at least one changing table on each of our aircrafts.
Remember that infants and children need a valid travel document. Please make sure that the name on the ticket matches the name in the passport.
You can bring as much food that you may need for the duration of your flight. This includes liquids, such as baby formula.
You can read more about travelling with children here.
Planning a trip with your four-legged friend? Make sure that you read our terms and conditions for pets onboard our flights.

At many airports you can also use the self-service check in kiosk located in the terminal. On the self-service kiosk, you can check-in, print your bag tag and boarding pass.
After your bag has been tagged, you can simply deliver it at the self-service bag-drop.

Priority Boarding can be added to your ticket up to 1 hour prior to departure.
Please make sure to be at the gate well ahead of when the boarding starts. Priority Boarding will only be available until the boarding for the remaining passengers has opened.
