Norwegian Reward Status Match Terms & Conditions
Norwegian Reward AS, organisation number 992 197 552, PO Box 115, NO-1330 Fornebu, Norway is the organiser and the entity responsible for the full campaign process according to the below terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Applicants must be a Norwegian Reward member.
1.2 Norwegian Reward Status Match is open to members of the SAS EuroBonus programme who hold Gold, Diamond, or Pandion status. Lifetime Gold is also included.
1.3 The name on the Norwegian Reward account must match the name on the SAS EuroBonus account.
1.4 Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to participate in the status match.
1.5 Changes to an applicant’s SAS EuroBonus status after the status match has been approved will not affect the initial 60-day Norwegian Reward Priority trial status. The extension to the full year is contingent on meeting the flight requirement, irrespective of changes in SAS EuroBonus status.
2. Application process
2.1 The Norwegian Reward Status Match is open to applicants for as long as the campaign is visible on the Norwegian website.
2.2 Only applications made via the status match form on Norwegian’s website will be processed.
2.3 Applicants must fill in all fields in the application form to be processed.
2.4 Applicants must provide proof of their current SAS EuroBonus top-tier status by uploading a photo/copy of their membership card showing their name, status level and expiry date of the status, and a recent Eurobonus account statement.
2.5 In submitting an application form, applicants confirm that all the information they have provided is truthful and correct.
2.6 Applicants can only apply for status match once, and only one SAS Eurobonus membership number per application form is accepted. Duplicates will be removed and not accepted.
3. Approval and status validity
3.1 The status match process may take up to 30 days from the date of application.
3.2 If applicants are approved, Norwegian Reward Priority status will be granted for an initial period of 60 days.
3.3 To extend the Norwegian Reward Priority status for a full year, members must book and fly at least two flights with Norwegian within 60 days of the status being granted.
3.4 Only flights booked and flown within the specified 60-day period count towards fulfilling the requirement. Members must ensure their Norwegian Reward membership number is included in the booking. Only flights that include the member’s Reward Number will be counted towards the eligible flights.
3.5 If members fulfill the flight requirements, they will receive Norwegian Reward Priority for 10 months at the end of the 60-day trial period. To maintain their status beyond this first 12 months, they would need to meet the standard requirements. Read more about benefit requirements here.
4. Benefits received with Norwegian Reward Priority
4.1 A full list of current Norwegian Reward Priority benefits can be found here.
4.2 Applicants will not receive the benefits associated with Norwegian Reward Priority on flights booked before their status match was approved.
4.3 Applicants who are approved for status match will not receive the Avis President’s Club benefit until after they have booked and flown their two flights within the initial 60-day period.
5. Non-transferability
5.1 The status match and associated benefits are non-transferable and can only be used by the member whose name appears on the account.
6. Fees
6.1 There is no fee to apply for the status match. It is a complimentary offer for eligible SAS EuroBonus members.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 Norwegian Reward reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this campaign at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated on the Norwegian website.
7.2 Norwegian Reward reserves the right to deny any status match application that does not meet the eligibility criteria, fails to provide the necessary documentation, or is suspected of fraudulent activity.
7.3 Participation in Norwegian Reward Status Match is subject to the general terms and conditions of the Norwegian Reward programme.
7.4 Norwegian Reward is not responsible for any technical issues that may affect the submission of status match applications, including but not limited to, network failures, computer malfunctions, or incomplete, late, or misdirected applications.
7.5 By participating in Norwegian Reward Status Match, members agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Norwegian Reward and its affiliates from any claims or damages arising out of their participation in the campaign or the acceptance and use of the matched status.
7.6 Members' personal data provided during the application process will be processed in accordance with Norwegian’s privacy policy, which is available on the Norwegian website.
7.7 In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and any other published materials regarding Norwegian Reward Status Match, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
7.8 By participating in the Norwegian Reward Status Match Campaign, members agree to these Terms & Conditions.
