Gift Card Terms and Conditions - Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA

1. General
The gift card can only be used as payment for products and services offered by Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and its subsidiaries ('Norwegian').

2. Delivery and Activation
The gift card is considered delivered when it is made available to the Recipient after payment is completed. The delivery time to the Recipient can be postponed by up to 3 months by the customer. If a later delivery time is chosen at the time of purchase, the gift card is still considered delivered at the time of payment.

3. Buyer's responsibility for delivery address
It is the buyer's responsibility to enter the correct email address for the delivery of the gift card so that it is sent to the correct recipient. If the e-mail is sent to a wrong recipient due to the buyer entering the wrong e-mail, Norwegian is not responsible for issuing a new gift card.

4. Right of Withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of digitally delivered gift cards. This is because the gift card is considered digital content that is delivered immediately after purchase. By completing the purchase, the Buyer agrees to the immediate start of delivery and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is thereby waived. If the gift card has not been made available to the Recipient, a right of withdrawal may still apply in accordance with mandatory legislation.

5. No Cash Payout
The gift card cannot be redeemed for cash, either in whole or in part.

6. Currency
The gift card can only be used in the same currency in which it was purchased. The currency cannot be changed or converted.

7. Validity
The gift card is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. If a later delivery date is chosen at the time of purchase, the validity period is calculated from the delivery date.

8. Use of Gift Card
The gift card can only be used through Norwegian's approved sales channels. The gift card cannot be used as a means of payment at the airport or on board Norwegian flights.

9. Use of Multiple Gift Cards
The buyer can use up to 3 gift cards/vouchers in the same transaction. If multiple gift cards/vouchers are used in the same purchase, they will be charged in order of expiration date, so that the gift card/voucher with the shortest remaining validity is used first.

10. Partial Payment
If the purchase amount exceeds the value of the gift card, the remaining amount must be paid with another approved payment method.

11. Remaining Value
Any remaining value can be used until the gift card's expiration date.

12. Restrictions on Use
The gift card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

13. Loss, Theft, and Misuse
The gift card is a valuable document. Norwegian is not responsible for loss, theft, or unauthorized use. Gift cards are not replaced in case of loss or misuse.

14. PIN Recovery and Resending
If the Recipient needs to be sent a new PIN code, the buyer's first and last name, email address and (if the buyer has purchased multiple gift cards) the last digits of the relevant gift card must be provided for identification. Upon successful identification, the registered email address can be changed to the recipient's email address, and the PIN code will be resent to the gift card holder.

15. Technical Conditions
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and its subsidiaries accept no liability for technical errors, system failures, or service interruptions that may affect the functionality of the gift card, including balance and payment.

16. Cancellation by Norwegian
If Norwegian cancels a trip after the gift card has expired, and the Recipient is entitled to a refund, the amount will be returned to the original gift card. The gift card will in such cases be extended by 90 days from the time of the refund. If there are less than 90 days until the gift card's expiration, an unexpired gift card will also be extended so that there are 90 days left until expiration from the time of cancellation.

17. Cancellation by Customer
If the customer cancels a trip without the right to a refund, the amount will not be returned to the gift card.

18. General Refunds
Refunds for purchases paid with a gift card will be returned to the gift card, unless otherwise required by mandatory law. The original expiration date of the gift card applies. If there are less than 90 days left until expiration at the time of the refund, the gift card will be extended so that there are 90 days left until expiration from the time of the refund.

19. Expiration
Unused value is forfeited upon expiration and is not refundable.

20. Misuse and Invalidity
Norwegian reserves the right to reject or invalidate gift cards in case of suspected fraud, misuse, or breach of the terms.

21. Changes to Terms
Norwegian reserves the right to change the terms. Changes do not affect already issued gift cards.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The terms are subject to Norwegian law. Any disputes will be settled by Norwegian courts.
