Hand baggage

We know it's nice to have what you need at your fingertips. That's why all our tickets include a generous hand baggage allowance – just be careful not to overpack!

One carry-on bag included

You can always bring one carry-on bag in the cabin free of charge. Your ticket type will determine how heavy it can be.

Size and weight limits

  • LowFare, LowFare+, Premium

    10 kg – 55 x 40 x 23 cm

  • Flex, PremiumFlex

    15 kg – 55 x 40 x 23 cm

Travelling to/from Dubai? Your carry-on bag must not exceed 8 kg. This is due to weight restrictions on board these flights.

One small personal item extra

You can also bring one small personal item on board. This could be a little handbag or a slim laptop case that fits comfortably under the seat in front of you.

Make sure you don't overpack!

Bulky hand bags, shopping bags or large laptop cases may not qualify as a small personal item. If you have too much baggage, you'll have to pay to check it in.

On very busy flights we may have to ask some of our passengers to check hand baggage into the cargo hold if our overhead compartments are full – even if your hand baggage is within the permitted size and weight limits. In these situations we recommend that you remove any travel documents, ID papers, medication and fragile or valuable items from your carry-on bag.

Children and infants

Infant (under 2 years)

There is no hand baggage allowance for infant tickets, but you can bring a reasonable amount of baby food and milk/formula for the flight.

Children (2 to 11 years)

If you purchase a child ticket, your child can bring the amount of hand baggage and checked baggage that their ticket type allows.
