Webster Hall

Said to be one of the oldest nightclubs in the country (est 1886), Webster has been through as much transformation as the East Village itself. The crowd is skewed toward the younger demographic (although you must be at least 19 to enter) but the venue that hosted Prince in his early days still manages to house DJs and new artists every weekend throughout its multiple rooms and floors. Don’t be surprised to see people on stilts, trapeze artists, and gogo dancers – they’re all staples at this historic party space.
