The ebullient, albeit linguistically limited, owner-chef of this small restaurant in Eixample likes to greet every group of diners personally and talk them through his lovingly compiled Mediterranean menu. Among the highlights is the beef carpaccio, and it would be a mistake to turn down the complimentary shots of hierbas (bitter herbal liqueur) at the end of your meal.
