Holocaust Memorial

Directly in the centre of this crazy metropolis is something much more stark and sombre, the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe. Thousands of visitors a year wander between the labyrinth of vast, stone structures taking time out to remember the six million Jews that fell victim to the Holocaust. The information centre is extremely informative and very sympathetic towards both the victims and their ancestors. Audio guides are available and public guided tours are free at weekends.
