Get ready to fly

We’re here to help you travel with confidence, having taken several measures to ensure your safety from booking to arrival. We recommend that you always follow the general recommendations of the health authorities in the countries of your departure and destination. We look forward to welcoming you back on board!

Before your travel

  • Check entry and transit requirements for your destination in advance of travel.
  • Keep any necessary documents on your person or in your hand baggage.
  • Face masks are required if you are travelling to/from a destination outside Scandinavia

Requirements can change rapidly. It is therefore your responsibility to check entry and transit requirements with the authorities of your destination and/or transit country before you travel.

Check the requirements for your destination >

Many countries require a negative COVID-19 test result (such as a PCR or rapid antigen test) and a medical certificate before you can board the aircraft, or before entering your destination or transit country. The type of test required, as well as the number of days or hours before arrival that the test was conducted, may vary depending on the country you’re travelling to.

Keep in mind that the requirements of a country can change rapidly, so we advise you to check travel advice regularly.

From 18 October 2021 face masks are no longer required on board our Scandinavian routes (i.e. domestic flights in Denmark, Norway and Sweden and routes between these countries).
For all other routes see requirements below:

The use of a face mask is mandatory for our passengers and cabin crew on board our flights. Face masks must cover the nose and mouth and must be made for the purpose. Scarves or the like will not be accepted.

Passengers are responsible for bringing their own face masks which must be worn throughout the flight. Remember that you should bring enough fresh face masks to change every 4 hours, and that it may not be possible to buy face masks at the airport. We recommend bringing face masks from home. Some airports require the use of face masks; if unsure, please check the corresponding airport's website for more information.

If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, you must present a medical document to the gate staff confirming this before boarding. Children under the age of 6 do not need to wear a face mask on board.

We encourage you to limit the amount of hand baggage you bring into the cabin and check in your baggage where possible.

You can still bring the amount of hand baggage included in your ticket type or product you have purchased, however we recommend stowing baggage under your seat and limiting the use of the overhead lockers to reduce the number of surfaces on the aircraft you come into contact with.

Make sure you bring any necessary documents with you in your hand baggage.

At the airport

  • Arrive well in advance of scheduled departure time (minimum 2 hrs).
  • Limit the amount of hand baggage you bring into the cabin.
  • Check in online and scan your own boarding pass through our app.

In general, we suggest allowing a minimum of two hours pre-departure time. However, you should check your departure airport's website for more information.
Hand sanitising stations should be used regularly. You may also receive temperature checks from airport staff.
Please check your departure airport's website for information on lounge access.

We encourage you to utilize our online services during your travel. Check your flight status, check in online and scan your own boarding pass through our app or website.
