Top three in Barcelona

This city holds a special place in Amados heart and here are two classical landmarks you can’t miss out on and one hidden gem:

  1. Sagrada Familia is probably the city’s most famous landmark, but still a place you must see even though it’s still under construction. It’s located in the Eixample district and is the world’s biggest unfinished Catholic church. Latest news is that it finally will be completed in 2026, but we will see.
  2. Arc de Triomf is another stunning landmark. You’ll find it on the promenade Passeig de Lluís Companys. The Arc leads you into the beautiful Ciutadella Park, where you can escape the hustle of city without leaving the city.
  3. The Bunkers of Carmel is a nice hidden gem. The place is from the Spanish civil war and was a place for anti-air defence. Now it’s converted to a beautiful 360-degree viewpoint over the city. This is a place not many know of yet!

What do you always pack in your suitcase?

As a photographer I always carry my camera, wide-angle and close up lenses, a pair of sunglasses and sunscreen. Being able to combine both flying and photography makes me happy.

How did you land your job in Norwegian?

My dream job as a kid was to be cabin crew, and I thought that my 170 cm put a stop to that. I’ve always thought that to be a flight attendant, you have to be super tall. After some research I found out I was wrong and Norwegian was the perfect fit for me. Now I’ve been with Norwegian for 9 years, and I have flown all over Europe and the USA. I can’t wait to see where next flight brings me.

What’s the best thing working for Norwegian?

It might sound like a cliché but having the opportunity to work with colleagues from different nationalities and having the opportunity to be based in different cities and countries all over Europe. It has given me a lifetime of experience and I love it!

What characterises a Norwegian employee for you?

I would like to highlight the warmth, professionalism and good vibes between all the crew. We are really proud of the uniform and what it represents to the world - and this spirit we bring with us onboard.

We always greet our passengers with a big smile and provide them with amazing service. I feel grateful to be part of this dedicated team at Norwegian.
