"Seller": Norwegian Reward AS, org no 992 197 552 with address PO Box 115, 1330 Fornebu. The seller's main activity is related to air travel and the company is subject to public approval schemes in accordance with the Aviation Act.
"Purchaser": The person or company who pays for the gift card at Norwegian Reward.
"Recipient": The person to whom the Purchaser chooses to pass on the gift card, possibly the Purchaser himself if the gift card is not passed on.
1. The gift card can be used to pay for plane tickets and other related services with the airline Norwegian. CashPoints cannot be used to pay taxes and duties. The value of the Gift Card is in Norwegian Rewards' currency, CashPoints. 1 CashPoint = 1 NOK (Norwegian kroner).
2. The gift card is paid in full before delivery and is delivered electronically as a PDF document to either the Buyer or Recipient(s) specified by the Buyer. The buyer will receive a separate e-mail receipt after a completed purchase, regardless of whether one or more gift cards have been purchased and/or if the gift card is sent directly to the Recipient(s). The amount in the gift card is stated in the number of CashPoints which correspond to the same number of Norwegian kroner. A gift card with a value of 1,000 CashPoints will thus correspond to NOK 1,000. The value of gift cards purchased in a currency other than NOK will therefore be subject to exchange rate changes. Membership in Norwegian Reward is not required to buy gift cards. The buyer will receive an electronic receipt for the purchase.
3. The recipient of a gift card must be or become a member of Norwegian Reward in order to make use of the value in the gift card, which consists of optional flights and other associated services with Norwegian. Membership requires the creation of a profile and is free. The recipient must redeem the gift card at Norwegian Reward (www.norwegianreward.com/redeem) to have CashPoints available in their Norwegian profile. To buy plane tickets with Norwegian with the gift card, the Recipient must then log in to www.norwegian.no to order plane tickets through their Norwegian profile.
4. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash, and the points are valid for the current year + 1 year from the time of purchase.
5. The seller assumes no responsibility for stolen, unauthorized use, lost or otherwise lost gift cards. The buyer is himself responsible for the e-mail provided is correct and is also responsible for the recipient being able to legally use the gift card. The seller does not assume any responsibility in connection with gift cards that cannot be used for various reasons. The Buyer is responsible for making the Recipient aware of the conditions that apply to the gift card.
6. The buyer does not have a right of withdrawal when purchasing a gift card, and the buyer agrees that this agreement is fulfilled by both parties so that the rules on the right of withdrawal for distance sales of financial services do not apply.
7. CashPoints are not earned on purchases at Norwegian on the services you choose to pay with CashPoints.
8. The purchase of gift cards for use for commercial purposes is not permitted. Violation of this point results in the deletion of the Reward account in question without warning.
9. Resale of gift cards is not permitted.
10. The buyer does not earn CashPoints on the purchase of gift cards. The buyer cannot use CashPoints to buy gift cards.
11. The gift card cannot be redeemed before 72 hours after the time of purchase.
12. These terms and conditions are subject to Norwegian law and any disputes must be brought before Asker and Bærum District Court. Any complaints or claims relating to the services for which the Recipient has used the gift card are subject to the rules and dispute resolutions that apply to such services.
13. Norwegian is free to change the terms and conditions for the purchase and use of gift cards.
