Damaged baggage

When things don't go to plan, we'll do all we can to help.

Present the damage at the airport straight away

You must present any damaged baggage to our airport representatives immediately, along with your bag tags and travel documents.

Already left the airport?

You’ll need to return with your baggage, bag tags and travel documents and report the damage within 7 days. We can’t cover damaged items that aren’t reported within this time.

Claims for damaged baggage

  • Depending on the type of damage, your baggage will be repaired or you’ll be compensated for its value at the time of damage. 
  • Normal transport conditions may result in scratches, marks, dents and other minor damage. We trust you understand we’re not responsible for this type of general wear and tear.
  • If the contents of your baggage is damaged (with no damage to the bag itself), we recommend you contact your travel insurer.

In Norway or Sweden?

You can take your damaged standard bag or suitcase and the original Damage Report to a Morris store in Norway or an Accent store in Sweden and they’ll repair your bag on our behalf.

If your bag can't be fixed, they’ll replace it with an item of a similar value at the time of the damage.

Can't get to one of these stores, or your damaged item isn't a standard bag or suitcase?

Please contact your local retailer to get a quote for the repair cost, or a statement that the item can’t be repaired (including the brand, age and current value of the item).

Once you have this documentation, you can submit your claim for damaged baggage.
