Moritz first started brewing beer in Barcelona in 1856 before going bankrupt in 1978. Descendants of the Alsatian immigrant however re-launched the brand in 2004 to the delight of local residents. Now that production takes place in Zaragossa, their former factory has now been transformed into a microbrewery, restaurant and wine bar, where you can drink fresh, unpasteurised beer on tap.
