Norwegian accept a maximum of two electric wheelchairs per flight. The maximum permitted dimensions for an electric wheelchair are 140x114x85cm, with a maximum weight of 150kg. The wheelchair must be powered by dry cell batteries. Wheelchairs powered by wet cell batteries cannot be accepted because of strict security regulations.
It will not always be possible to bring an electric wheelchair all the way to the gate so if this is necessary, you must check with our ground crew at the airport before your journey. Passengers travelling with electric wheelchairs must check in 60 minutes at the latest and at the gate 30 minutes at the latest before departure. Passengers arriving after these deadlines will be turned away.
